Founder and Executive director

Ashley Stoll

Ashley has been working with vulnerable children and families in Liberia for 15 years. She has extensive experience working with orphanages—directors, caretakers, and the children residing there—as well as aged-out young adults. Red Meets Green began as a dream to open a community center just outside of Monrovia, Liberia. After three years, she made her way back to working with children living in and aging out of orphanages, beginning to advocate for a shift to family-based care. Ashley wants to see children reunited with their families and educate well-intentioned donors about the harm of supporting orphanage homes. Her greatest passion is providing a platform for aged-out care-leavers to share their stories. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and going on adventures with her nephews.
